How we did the presentation on Human Rights

We think we did very well, but it was a challenge to select the specific topic. It took us about four days of intensive discussion.

When we had agreed on the topic “The Right To Education”, we realized that another group had asked for it. Someone said, “Why not bullying?”, bullying affects seriously the learning process so the victim cannot exercise his/her right to education. We discussed this again until the evening when someone else said that it was enough, we had no more time to argue about it. So, the decision was made.

Once the topic was decided, the developing of the work started, someone made a content list of the points to work on, each one of us chose a piece and developed it, as usual, we shared all the work with the group members through a drive file and through WhatsApp.

The other thing was that two of us would not be present at the meeting. We knew that the BBB system does not always function as it is supposed to.  We talked about a way for them to be there, and we thought we could use a ppt with an audio, but not everybody agreed to it. Somebody suggested employing a video. Some of us took a copy of the videos just in case

We took Lizzie’s video and photos of her because we could have trouble showing the video. Another possibility was to reproduce the sound of the video using a mobile phone and the speakers. Then, the audience would be able to see her and understand the audio.

Time flew, so, unfortunately, we could not have the debate.
